Recently, I've had a few unhappy customers.  It's not that they were unhappy with what I did... they were unhappy about what I wouldn't do.   Just in the past month, I had to cancel a few orders for very basic and obvious reasons.  I had a couple of customers buy a thing from my shop, then contact me after their purchase, telling me they didn't want the thing that they bought because actually, they wanted a different thing that I wasn't offering or something that I was unable to make for them in the unrealistic time frame they were...

I'm writing this with hopeful optimism: After failing (twice!) at creating workable cicada legs for my next designs, I have now made a third set of legs — and I think the third time might be the charm!

Not so long ago, I heard a grown man pronounce the word cicada "chi-CAH-da".  That was a first.  There are certain "tells" when someone is not all that into bugs.  Not being able to pronounce (or even spell, apparently) the name of a fairly common one, I would say is probably one of them.
