What would you have called one of these critters when you were growing up: pill bug or roly poly? My family is from SW New Jersey/Philadelphia; we all called them pillbugs. These guys have a ton of common names, though, potato bug, sow bug, armadillo bug, woodlice... my all-time-fave being “doodle bug,” though. It just doesn't get any cuter than that!
Earring dimensions (antennae included!):
curled isopod: 3/8" x 5/16" (9 mm x 8 mm)
crawling isopod: 7/16" x 5/8" (1 cm x 1.5 cm)
Please note that these are made-to-order, so please allow 1-2 weeks for completion before shipping. But if you need this in a hurry, let me know; I may have a rush option for you available!
