Handcrafted in the USA! The beehives are shell back brass stampings made from vintage molds. The ear wires are gold-filled, so they are great for people with nickel or other base metal allergies/sensitivities. The ear wires on these beehive charm earrings come with hypo-allergenic plastic clutches so they don't slip out! The brass beehive charms have been lovingly hand polished and double-coated with a sealant to prevent tarnishing & discoloration. Please note that many other makers sell raw brass jewelry; raw brass will tarnish quickly and is very difficult to keep clean! This item is available in two hand-polished finishes: bright gold and antiqued brass.
